SAIL CRUISING COURSES

Why not come along and try out big boat sailing. Whether you want to enjoy a weekend sailing in some of the most beautiful stretches of water in the UK in the safe hands of our experienced instructors or set your sights on developing your skills by undertaking one of our RYA certified sailing courses then give North Wales Power and Sail a call. You will learn and experience big boat sailing on our sail training vessel Sea Breeze a 32’ Westerly Fulmar.

Beginners

Sailing is an exhilarating, fun activity that allows you to experience the great outdoors from the perspective of the sea. Learn the fundamentals of how to be an effective member of a crew or simply enjoy the scenery.

Intermediate

These courses are designed to build on your prior sailing experiences and knowledge and successful candidates will achieve a standard required to skipper a yacht safely by day and in familiar or less challenging environments.

Advanced

These courses are designed to give students practical skills to plan and skipper longer passages and to achieve a standard required to skipper a yacht safely by day or night on coastal and offshore passages.

Designed to provide a short introduction for novices to sail cruising. Minimum age 8 years old but must be accompanied by a fee paying responsible adult.
